How do we know what we know about the natural world around us?
Description of Class
In physical science this quarter, we are learning about circuit boards and electrolytes. We had just finished a lab where we were given two cardboard boxes and told to make one warm and one cool when they are both put in the sun for 10 minutes. My group and I were successful-ish, but we weren't the top in the class.
This quarter in science, I have shown the most growth in completing homework in class because my table and I would finish our labs early and have enough time to finish it completely.
An example of my best work I am most proud of is the the evidence and tradeoff of each energy source because I could write in my own words about advantages and disadvantages of some things, using some of my own opinion.
This quarter in science, my biggest struggle was learning about electrons and circuit boards because I was absent the class that Ms. Ami went over a large hunk of that topic and it just didn't click with me.
A goal I would like to work towards in the future is including everyone in the labs because I would tend to take over and just do everything myself. A way that I can work towards this goal is by sitting back and let somebody else have a turn. My teacher can help me by letting me know if I’m taking over so that I can let someone else work on the lab too.
